Responsibilities:
• Review and Approval of Non-Routine Complicated/Critical Lifting Plans
• Review and approval of Mfg. documents for procurement of new lifting gears
• Review and approval of Mfg. documents for procurement of new lifting appliances
• To give guideline to custodian for the safer storage and handling of lifting equipments
• Perform condition check (spot check)
• Responsibility for ensuring that all lifting gears used are color coded
• Responsibility for centralized lifting equipment certification control
• Supervision of heavy, Complicated and Critical lift
• Review of rig move plans
• Responsible for in-house inspection of lifting points (pad eyes) prior to lift.

Responsibilities:
Inspection of all PDO owned Lifting Equipments such as EOT cranes, Jib Cranes,
Monorails, Trolleys, Chain Blocks / Lever Hoists, Fork Lifts and Scissor Lifts etc.
• To give guideline to custodian for the safer storage and handling of lifting equipments.
• Perform condition check (spot check) for lifting Equipments.
• Responsibility for Ensuring that all lifting gears used is colour coded.
• Responsibility for centralized lifting equipment certification control.
Inspection of all PDO owned Hoists and Rigs Lifting Gears such as Wire Rope Slings, Webbing Slings, Shackles, Eye Bolts, Turn Buckles, Lifting Frames, Containers, Drill Pipe Baskets and Beam Clamps etc.
Inspection and Verification of all Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities of Lifting Equipments carried out by Contactors.
• Provide Witness Inspection support to Project Teams in various Lifting Equipments Commissioning accomplished and ongoing Projects in PDO.
• Carried out PDO Lifting and Hoisting Procedures compliance audits of all PDO and Contractors.
• Provided support to many Contractors for Repair/Refurbishment Projects of Lifting Equipments
Responsible to carry out monthly audit to ensure all PDO Workshops and Contractor following the Lifting and Hoisting Procedures.
Visual and through inspection of Wire rope sling, chain sling, shackles, webbing slings, eye bolt, hook, swivel, beam Clamp, plate clamp, lifting cap, master link, connecting link, container hook etc.
Responsibility for centralized lifting equipment certification control
Reviewing the NDT Reports of welds on Lifting pad eyes and structure of the Onshore & Offshore Containers
