Professional Experience

Owner Operator – Regal Renovations Feb 2013 – present

December 2014 – July 2015 Werbar Investments – worked as a handyman for commercial unit turnover and bldg. maintenance doing minor plumbing, electrical, masonry repairs/alterations.

General Manager – July 2012 – December 2012 Subaru Auto Gallery, Regina (returned to Ont. 01/13 to attend to parent’s needs).

General Manager January 2011 to January 2012 Welland Honda – Welland, Ontario

Had full management responsibility for a HONDA franchise generating revenues in excess of $14M during a challenging transition year due to product shortages caused by Fukishima tsunami.

General Manager January 1995 to December 2010 - Gillespie Pontiac Buick Cadillac. Assisted with purchase and transition of Honda Franchise – Welland, Ontario

o Within first year increased revenues from accounts, especially GM family purchasers.

o Performed project management role on 2.5 million dollar facility image update in 2005 kept below budget.

o Built an A-caliber team of service technician talent through training and consistent adherence to following diagnostic tree formats for repair.

Attained President Triple crown award for sales volume, profitability and CSI (customer satisfaction index rating) for four of the first six years after joining Gillespie Pontiac Buick Cadillac. The company had won this top 100 dealers in Canada award only twice in the previous 23 years.

I also identified opportunities, set goals and motivated sales staff to outdistance the competition and drive peak productivity from all staff, resulting in record-setting sales year-over-year in new and used sales, parts and service departments. Prior managers at this location did not focus on a team atmosphere to achieve these goals and sales staff were consistently appreciative of this new direction as it led to increased teamwork and better communication.
