Geographic Information Systems. Projects; risk assessments via digital mapping for the planning department of the City of Ellensburg, WA. This project focused on geo-referencing potential legacy hazards from past industry practices and from left-over equipment and materials pre-dating modern zoning laws. Created address locator to update the City of Ellensburg Emergency Response geodatabase, this project included ArcGIS network analysis on all the roads, properties and land layouts in Kittitas County, WA. Created several maps of State Parks and other natural areas by mapping roads, trail’s, facilities, and various campground infrastructures.
Water: environmental science field methods, GPS, stream gauging, flow metering, and sample techniques. Operate a variety of instruments to determine; water quality, pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, conductivity, and velocity. Some basic hydrological modeling (hydrographs) of storm surface run-off. I performed data quality control and analysis of Google Maps with an emphasis on policy and client business vision. Responsibilities required navigating multiple proprietary software platforms involving complex workflows in a highly collaborative environment. The data analyzed was generated in a wide range of source environments and the information extracted from various data formats. This included spreadsheets and front-end user device content; this demanded a positive outcomes via decision based resolution state. I operated in a capacity in which understanding research of global political culture was vital. I was assigned to the Geodata escalations team which was responsible for resolving high profile issues.
