About Project: UDA is Universal data Acquisition –this is a platform where Transunion take any kind of data from outside 3rd parties to create warehouse for use of its credit product.

EDH is there base application where all data is collected and refined to provide required data to downstream applications.

Responsibilities:

1.I work as senior developer involved in design and coding end to end UDA and EDH projects. Also work as onsite coordinator for offshore team in India and help team to understand business requirement and coding for on-boarding of new data source in UDA, EDH platform.

2.Majority we use Conduct-IT plans, task, methods, abinito component like run program, reformat, filter by expression, join, rollup, scan, read xl, write xl, read multifile, write multifile, partitioning component, BRE rules etc to implement project end to end.

3.Review code developed by team members or code walkthrough and design walkthrough which I create for different sources/requirement.

4.Create work space in express it for new projects. Also write new scripts or some graphs wherever it’s required to automate entire project using express>it to setup regression test bed by testing/qa team.

5.I create turn over document for testing team about project that I am responsible for also support testing team during the time of their testing to fix defects or wherever they need more information for test cases and data creation.

6.Identify performance improvement in code/schedules etc wherever it is required and fix them for existing projects.

7.Creating JIL files for corresponding Autosys schedule implementation.

8.Data masking in Express>IT using TDM to create test data for unit testing .

About Project: Campaign Management and PRS is initiative of Discover Financial Services to offer different kind of rewards for customer having their cards. EDS is Enterprise Data Services warehouse where all sources data is stored.

Responsibilities:

1.understanding requirement document coordinating with onsite coordinator designing, writing required abinitio code, fixing defects, code walk through, review etc.

2.Identifying possible fixes for code issues and performance in production and then sending it to client for approval and their implementation.

3.Making sure every day plan get complete by coordinating with different team members in project development in offshore, received from onsite coordinator.

4.Preparing different utilities to read complex graph output for testing team, also create graph wherever testing team need to create flat files for their testing after creating data into xl sheets.

About Project: RDE deals with customer Authentication: Creating data to online driver engine (Triad 8.5) to confirm Customer Authentication at point of sale, decision of plastic card issuance, payment hold and customer payment collection and recovery. PSD deals with public service directives order regulated in UK for all banks to avail credit of a card customer within two hours from the time of customer make payments.

Responsibilities:

1.Understanding requirement part for which I was responsible to write code in abinitio and informatica. Creation of plans, psets, using continuous component like subscriber, publisher, reformat, join, rollup.

2.Converting cobol copybook dml into ebcdic format to read files received from mainframe server and writing code to process files for further processing.

3. Creating abinitio queue and queue dml to read incoming file after file’s header validation to process it through continuous reformat component to apply Logic.

4.Fixing the abinitio related defects and also used to re-write code for already existing graph for performance improvement.

About Project: Bank has been introduced payment acceptance business first time in US by sponsoring some of its BIN. Payment acceptance is done by 3rd party HPS. Datamart creation was required for three files DAF(Daily Activity File), DDF(Daily Dispute File) and Visa File. Received from different data sources or 3rd parties.

Responsibilities:

1.Understanding requirement part for which I was responsible to write code in abinitio.

2.Creating dmls to read US bin files having definitions explained in requirement documents for required and optional fields.

3.Creating data model for Teradata tables field and requesting dba to create table structure for given schema in us bin project.

4.Creating graph to clean the file received from source and validating header for valid date, trailer for record count and detail record for required fields received in file.

5.Creating load ready file by writing transformations to achieve business logics applying on cleansed data

6.Creating load graph using multiload in Teradata utility to achieve fast loading in Teradata tables.

7.Fixing the abinitio related defects and also used to re-write code for already existing graph for performance improvement. Reviewing code with team.
