Recovery of Heat from Exhaust Air Using a Heat Pump
Designed a schematic system and successfully deduced the objective equations of the compressor, evaporator, condenser and electrical heating load and deduced the constraint equation of the system and solved the equations up to humanly possible using Lagrange Multipliers and obtained the end results using excel.

Designed a schematic model of a valve closure using Applied Flow Technology (AFT) Impulse and simulated the model to obtain the transient results of each station in all pipes.

Drowsy Driver Detection System

In our project we designed a prototype of drowsy driver detection system that will caution the driver in many ways to prevent such accidents. Our project describes a design of effective system that can monitor the driver’s eyes continuously. Since there are very advanced facial recognition techniques rather than focusing more on eye blinking techniques we used a normal IR eye blinking sensor to detect the blinking of eye and our project mainly focuses on alerting the driver through several cautions. The IR eye blinking sensor gives the signal if the driver is in drowsy state, it works on the following sequence.
Buzzing the alarm.
Sprinkling the water on driver’s face.
Switching on parking lights.
De-accelerating the vehicle.
Our project primarily focuses on creating methods counteracting the Drowsiness and also creating cognizance about this system.
