Qualifications

20 years plus experience in the Drafting and Mechanical Design of various products including manifolds, high-pressure fittings, carburetion products, instrument valves, check valves, drill stem valves, top drive valves, surface control units, and downhole oil tools. Proficient with AutoCAD, Pro Engineering and Solidworks. Completed basic and advanced Pro Engineering and Solidworks courses. More than halfway completed in mechanical engineering course. Planning on pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).

Responsible for custom silk screen printed t-shirts and promotional item orders coming in and going out in a timely manner. Organizing a weekly schedule is a must to handle all incoming orders from sales and at the same time to ensure our quality is not compromised in anyway. A 100% customer satisfaction is always a must. Also participation in hands on silk screen printing in manual and/or automatic mechanical-pneumatic press is part of the duty when working under pressure.

Designer, May 2012 – July 2015

Responsible for the design and engineering of inflatable packers and the many associated downhole oil tools including the tamcap, longcap, port collar, service tools, etc. Coordinated and achieved on time the necessary design reviews and testing for qualification of current and new products. Also participated in-house tool trainings which help to assist in current and new engineering designs.

Mechanical Design Technologist, January 2009 – April 2012

Worked in the Rapid Tool Development department (RTD) on the design of mechanical packers and the many associated downhole oil tools including FracPorts, Liner Hangers, Shifting tools, etc. Coordinated and achieved on time the necessary design reviews for new designs and in-house testing for qualifications of current and new products. Also participated on the field tool installation and successfully achieved trial runs for current and new products.

TAM International

Draftsman/Designer, November 2006 – January 2009

Worked on Inflatable and Swellable Packers and associated downhole oil tools. As a Solidworks designer I slashed the time in creating 3D models and drawings for quick turnarounds. Exposed to some in-house testing and tool training.

Smith International

Worked on the casing patch, bridge plug and associated downhole oil tools. Quick turnarounds were a must and as a Pro-E designer I was able to achieve complex 3D components and assemblies in a short period of time.

Worked on a small business corporation as a partnership. Was involved in the sales of graphics, custom silk screen printing and retail pre-printing. Achieved sales to a steady 20K a month enhancing customer relations. Also I was able to slash overhead by 30% by limiting usage and waste of materials and recycling reusable parts. As of today now only share holder and investment involvement.

Hydril Company

Draftsman/Designer, September 1998-September 2004

Worked in the controls group and was responsible for the designing and supporting of surface control units. Also involved in the designing of various types of drill stem valves, specializing mainly in the Kellyguard valve. Completed basic and advanced Pro Engineering courses. Responsible for providing Pro-E models and drawings achieving them in a timely manner. Traveled offshore overseeing and assisting in drill stem valve and control unit function.

Created drawings for oil and gas drilling equipment, including subsea wellhead systems, diverter systems, and gate valves. Provided burnout, rough out, final machine, weldment, sub-assembly and assembly drawings using Mechanical Engineer version10 (ME10).
