Position Function: Proving clinical and technical support to projects through intensive case management services, crisis management, home visits, weekly contact, monitoring of standards compliance, documentation, ongoing training advocacy and even organisation. The job used to require sensitivity to the services population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics

Key Expectations/Responsibilities: large-scale stormwater management Supervise the work of the Education, Grants, Advocacy & Construction, and Field Implementation Units teams, ensuring full integration and complementarity of work;

In collaboration with the Communication and Outreach Manager, lead implementation of light touch approach in hard to reach areas;

Liaise with the Deputy Project Director – Operations and Administration to ensure timely support is provided for program implementation; as needed troubleshoot issues that arise

Facilitate regular discussions of program targets including quantitative as well as qualitative indicators of project achievements

Strengthen capacity among managers for program monitoring and outcomes tracking and assist teams in troubleshooting programmatic challenges as they arise

Prepare monthly work plans to share with USAID

Prepare and update reports as needed by the Project Director and submit month-end reports to HQ according to procedures.

Review narrative reports from sub-grantees for completeness and accuracy and follow up on areas needing further work or elaboration

Participate in the development and preparation of work plan, quarterly and annual reports, budgets, pipelines, as well as institutional forecasts

The capacity to maintain a helping role and to intervene appropriately to meet service goals with the ability to set appropriate limits

Participation, facilitation of Service meetings and reviews, Collaborative Intake meetings, as well as transfer and discharge meetings for adoption children.

Documentation of meetings, contacts, and case progress by completing paperwork, progress notes, and writing plans of adoption service.

Maintain regular communication through phone calls and home visits with foster/adopt parents, assist in conducting home studies and assessing potential foster/adopt parents to make recommendations for their ability to provide care for children, attend community meetings, staffing, and other meetings for an assigned caseload of children in foster/adopt homes and lead monthly meetings with foster parents to review youth progress and overall functioning of the foster parents, as well as assist foster parents in designing behavior interventions and responding to youth behavior

Participate in inspections at foster homes to review licensing standards and document non-compliances, attend relevant in-service training offered at ACH to expand knowledge of services and the application of clinical skills, attend SAMA, first aid, and CPR training, communicate regularly with supervisor and seek supervision when appropriate, attend training on trauma-informed care and attachment –focused-parenting and demonstrate the ability to implement interventions in the home based on these models of care and attend continuing education necessary to expand knowledge and maintain certifications or licenses
