T-Mobile sells its products & services through 40,000 independent sales partners and process about 2 Million commission transactions per month. This commission may either be a percentage of the value of the transaction, or a flat amount. To calculate this Commission T-Mobile has a separate Module called COMMISSIONS. Where there is an ACS/ICS System and Sales Commission Management System [SMCS] which calculates the actual commissions. But now it is being replaced by a new Varicent System. So we Commissions Team is involved in the Testing of this new developed commission calculating system SCMS Adapter and Varicent.

SCMS Adapter is a Data Acquisition system which pulls subscriber and reference data from different data sources into a series of databases destined for the Commission Landing system. It is envisioned that this data will be used by T-Mobile’s ACS and ICS Commissions Systems for the purpose of paying commissions to T-Mobile Retail and B2B employees and Dealers.

For various telecom products available in application/software the client places the orders and the sales is made to them for corresponding items. There are various options to upgrade their Packages and Plans etc. The Portal SFA application was developed in .NET technology using SQL Server.
