Project Manager, Johnson Controls PT (Army Reserve Center, Green Bay, WI) 2016-Present

Work Description: Managed mechanical and electrical contractors resolving concerns between Owner, Engineers and Contractors. Monitored progress vs. schedule, budget vs. change request, and quality vs. plans/specification. Held weekly meetings to discuss safety, schedule, budget, old business, new business and action items. Kept upper management informed on a weekly bases of any possible problems and solution to same.

Project Engineer, Fluor (Contract) (Flint Hills Resources, Pine Bend Refinery) 2014-2016

Work Description: Managed development of refinery project from conception to IFC. Coordinated design between FHR process team and Fluor design team consisting of Process Engineer, Instrument Engineers and Instrument, Piping, Electrical and Civil/Structural designers. Tackled and resolved action items in a timely manner to stay on schedule and budget. Conducted walk downs, developed preliminary design reviews and project estimates during the different phase of design.

Construction Manager, MAP Engineering Services (Contract) 2012-2014

(Nestle, Little Chute, WI) Food Processing:

Work Description: Managed installation crew including Millwrights, Iron workers, Pipe Fitters,

Operators and Electricians on a daily basis. Resolved problems in design with equipment suppliers,

Engineers, operation and construction crews keeping project on schedule and within budget. Monitored safety and quality of crews and correcting as required. Conducted weekly and sometimes daily schedule meetings.

Project Engineer, CHERNE CONTRACTING (Contract) 2009-2011

Mechanical & Insulating Refinery Projects:

Work Description: Resolved mechanical design errors with engineer and tradesmen on refinery projects. Developed and managed release of detailed work packages including isometric drawings, 3D model drawings, location drawings and material list. Monitored productivity, progress and schedule on a daily basis. Managed field labor, quality of construction and budgetary performance. Managed subcontractors and resolved problems as they occurred. Maintained Daily Reports for construction activities, performance, problems, manpower and equipment. Coordinated testing and start up.

Project Manager, SCHNEIDER NATIONAL INC. 2007-2009

New & Refurbished Commercial Project:

Oversaw architects, engineers, contractors, and internal personnel while directing nationwide project. Developed project scope from lines of business requirements, established budget and schedule and worked with accounting to approve the project. Managed design approval, permitting and civil, plumbing, mechanical, electrical construction on project through out the United States. Developed land for office space and parking to facilitate business growth. Managed preventive maintenance and repairs on over 100 facilities and securing the least down time saving Schneider and their clients time and money.

Project Manager/Project Engineer, SCHECK MECHANICAL CORP 2004- 2006

Mechanical Refinery, Ethanol and Power Mechanical Projects:

Managed mechanical installation of equipment and piping on refinery, power and ethanol projects. Developed mechanical estimates for industrial project through out the mid west, securing over 10 % of the proposal submitted. Assisted in procurement of equipment, material and pipe support and expedited delivery of which increased productivity. Partnered with design engineers and installation personnel on industrial projects.

Construction Manager, THE STUBENRAUCH ARCHITECT 1995-2003

New Commercial Projects:

Executed all phases of commercial construction including shop drawings, site progress review, change orders, and project closeouts for builds/additions/remodels. Coordinated weekly construction meetings with client and contractors to review construction status, changes to the work and construction concerns enabling the projects to be more productive and under budget. Managed RFI’s between contractor and architect/engineer minimizing change order request and cost and time associated with change orders.
