Infinite Frameworks, Singapore (April 2010 – September 2010) Job Title: Texturing Artist
Was involved in texturing for hard surface modelling. The task was to create various color stripe as texture to be place on a F1 racing vehicle. Part of the task was also to set up few sets of uv to be used for one model. It was challenging as there were three race cars to be textured. Its because one should look different from another and yet it has to be appealing on the screen.
Black Magic Design, Singapore (June 2009 – February 2010) Job Title: Texturing Artist
Involved in character texturing for a cellphone commercial, and two product commercial. The first task was to create a realistic looking character, which is believable enough that it exist in the real world for a commercial. The task was modeling the character, texture and render it with different passes to make it look real, which sub surface scattering pass was needed. The other project was mainly about texturing and rendering the model to look as realistic as possible to be placed actual environment. Omens Studios, Singapore (October 2008 – April 2009) Job Title: 3D Generalist
Got involved in lighting, rendering and compositing a few episodes for television series, Zigby, Sedo Dog and Okto Streetsmart. The task was to understand and solve problems that occurred in render passes during compositing progress. In addition, I did texturing for characters in Okto Streetsmart project and two characters, chimpanzee and lion for Lord of the Jungle project.
Infinite Frameworks, Singapore (June – September 2008) Job Title: Effects Artist
Involved in two projects by default creating special effects using Maya particles. The task was to create smoke trail for the first project followed by creating sparks, lightning, smoke and a beam effect for a characters eye.
Part Time in Black Magic Design, Singapore (May – June 2007) Job Title: Texturing Artist
Involved in texturing character models for AMild project using Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Bodypaint and Zbrush. Taking task on unwrapping UV, creating high resolution texture maps using Adobe Photoshop and Bodypaint, and generate detail displacement and normal maps through Zbrush.
