Machine Operator, Turbine Components Corp., Branford, CT Set up and calibrate fixtures on Swing Grinders: for cluster vane lands with single, duel and triple step honeycombs; remove coating on used aircraft vanes to bring back to original manufacturer’s specifications; grind ID and OD on the outer duct segments to remove old plasma spray to bring into original manufacturer’s specifications. Set up and run creep feed grinders, speed feed, depth and width.
