Validated vehicle guidance systems (StarFire GPS/RTK, GreenStar Displays and Steering Controllers) for ISG. Worked on prototype and legacy tractors, sprayers and combines. Capital Project Engineer in charge of mixing rubber production equipment, producing over 1 million pounds a day in a 24/7 plant. Set up project teams with production, process engineering, controls, and maintenance and outside contractors to install new equipment and improve production and quality. Equipment used electrical motors (induction, synchronous and DC) and drives of up to 4,000 hp and hydraulic motors. Worked with conspicuous standards, OSHA, NFPA, ISO-QS9001, and ISO-14000 and did Kaizen before and after projects.

Managed multi-disciplined capital projects, saving Firestone over 1.5 million dollars (65%) in direct cost on an Electron Beam project alone.

Set up project teams with production, process engineering, controls, and maintenance and outside contractors to install new equipment and improve production and quality.

Designed and developed machines to produce agricultural tires from 300 to 2000 lbs.
