Makkah Royal Clock Tower, Saudi Arabia is a part of the King Abdul-Aziz Endowment Project, the tallest clock tower in the world, the world's largest clock face and the building with the world's largest floor area. The building complex is meters away from the world's largest mosque and Islam's most sacred site, the Masjid al Haram.

At 607m tall building is the second tallest in the world. The top 200m of the tower is clad with over

40,000m2 of advanced FRP composite panels, including the largest clocks in the world - 43m in diameter, with 23m long minute hands. The cladding of the tower top includes intricate calligraphy and ornamental patterning, finished in glass and ceramic tiles. Illumination of the clock hands, clock faces and media wall, called for over two million LED's to be integrated into the cladding panels.
