Human Resources:
. Administration of all staff benefits including establishment of
SEP/IRA and 403b plans, research on health plan options; staff records
and personnel data on salaries, hours, leave, benefits; administration
of FSA accounts;
. Submission and oversight of payroll and filing of all payroll taxes,
establishing payroll tax accounts in multiple states;
. Oversight and coordination of annual evaluation process, development
and revision of job descriptions;
. Management of all recruitment activities, coordination of orientation
process; establish and maintain all college work study relationships,
recruitment, orientation and oversight of student intern staff and
volunteers.
. Work with appropriate board committees to develop and implement
necessary processes and policies, including regular review and
revision of the Staff Handbook; address employee concerns regarding
administration and procedures
Financial Management:
. Develop the annual operating budget with the Executive Director
. Manage all financial transactions and records using business financial
software
. Monitor grant income and expenditures; provide reports to Development
Director as needed
. Aid Executive Director in financial planning for the organization,
including budget and cash flow projections
. Work with accountant and Board Treasurer to produce annual audit
and financial reports
. Provide monthly financial reports to the Board Treasurer and generate
financial reports, cash flow and budget updates as needed
. Maintain compliance with generally accepted accounting and financial
management principles
. Participate in long-range financial planning.
Office Management
. Develop, implement and maintain office procedures, systems, equipment
and work space
. Oversee the recording and maintenance of official records of minutes
and governing documents; attend board meetings as requested.
. Coordinate board communications with the Executive Director, including
assistance with recruitment and orientation of new members, scheduling
meetings and distribution of materials
. Oversee legal issues regarding the organization's 501(c)3 status and
regulations
