INTRODUCTION
I am a self-motivated, diligent, hardworking employee that utilises initiative and capitalise on my working hours in order to provide my employer with a well functioned division. I work well on an individual basis as well as in a team environment. My working history consists of a Mining background, Underground Blasting Operations and Electronic Maintenance including Fire detection systems. Thereafter I chose a change of career and focus on Electrical work. I completed an Electrical Certification while in the employ of EMTEC cc and have subsequently gained more than 20 years of experience in the Electrical Field. Due to the nature of the job and prior working history do I find myself conscious of the dangers of the job and therefore focused on Health and Safety. I have working experience in other electrical fields included Oil Rig, Cutter Suction and Hopper Suction Dredgers, and have a working knowledge of SCR systems, Ross Hill controls, Caterpillar Generator Sets, DC motors, Cutler Hammer and Siemens MCC. My current knowledge also includes PLC systems and the reading, understanding and implementation of electrical drawings. Part of my prior working history included the supervision of staff; general operations and ensuring staff conducted and adhered to Health and Safety regulations.
