Duties
Operational manager-co-ordinate all sites.
Ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest quality within budget by effectively organising, managing and utilising all resources.
Managing and communicating with a range of people including the client, subcontractors, suppliers the public and the workforce.
Received all project documentation.
To overlook and support the tender process, and forward adjudication report to MT members for discussion and approval.
Planning ahead to prevent problems on site before they occur e.g. having monthly scheduled meetings with all parties concerned.
Resolves any problems and issues that arose.
Preparing status reports for use in communication to stakeholders.
Ensure sub-contractors ( SMME’s) timesheets are done accordingly to
rates of principal contractor.
Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals before construction work starts.
