Contract with IT and management consulting companies to bring a strategy based, Business Transformation methodology to application development, off-shoring, outsourcing and business reengineering initiatives.
Management Consultant – OCLC, Cardinal Health, Compass Bank, Nationwide Insurance, GFS
Defined the future operating environment for a western cement manufacturer engaged in venture backed acquisitions targeted to double company size. Moved the firm from a decentralized model to shared services, eliminating duplication while standardizing practices.
Managed the business assessment of a $1.3 billion grant program for the State of Ohio. Identified a “burning platform” then created a fact base to validate opportunities in application development, compliance, training, performance tracking and customer support.
Identified a retirement service firm’s key customer valued processes and led strategy sessions to target cost reduction and system improvement opportunities. Facilitated the redesign of over 70 operational sub-processes in support of customer satisfaction targets.
Worked with a regional sun-belt bank to align sales and service operations with its’ Spanish parent. Directed development of unique business processes where specific U.S. regulations and practices required deviation from global process standards.
Documented and analyzed the end-to-end processes of a national credit union service organization.
