The objective of my job is to operate and manage the money exchange counter at the International Airport (KOLKATA). Responsible for increase in revenue and customer base for the counter at the Kolkata Airport.

Worked with the corporate quality team of Weizmann Forex Ltd to improve the quality of customer service and enhance the customer experience. This resulted in immediate improvement in the C-sat scores of customers visiting the counter.

Worked on a project highlighting the working of various currency markets.

Responsibilities:-

Analyze price movement of various currency pairs and generate foreign exchange

reports on daily, fortnightly and yearly basis.

Foreign Exchange exposure identification, providing recommendation of various

Strategies.

Prepare back office documentation such as deal notes, effectiveness testing & provide

senior management with analysis of the treasury Fx transactions that were executed

and provide insight into trends and improvements.

Verify and confirm all treasury Fx transactions, Fx settlements and payments and also

day to day Fx conversion.

Passing necessary accounting entries for the hedging and settlement done.

Checking that group wide treasury internal policies, authority limits and guidelines are

complied with and supporting documentation is readily available for review.

Cash Management

Tracking of day to day fund movement and to generate reports which enables the higher management to influence various decision and Cash generation can also be controlled.

Managed daily cash flow forecasts with a view to monitor the inflow & outflow of funds and ensuring optimum utilization of available funds.

Managed treasury function involving utilization of surplus funds in profitable investments achieving higher ROI and ensuring minimum liquidity position.

Daily coordination with banks in order to facilitate daily operations and also review and maintain the bank account database location wise, signature rights, bank account request forms.
