Experience In Textiles Processing

As a Textile Technologist, my major experience is in the field of the wet

processing (Dyeing) of woven fabrics. I have worked in four big processing

units in Karachi. My experience in detail is given below

Jan 2001 to Mar 2004(As Dyeing Supervisor) at Nakshbandi Industries

Karachi.

May 2004 to September2006 (As Shift In charge Dyeing ) at Al-Aabid Silk

Mills.

September 2006 to May 2008 (As Shift In charge Dyeing ) at Moon Light

Textile Mills.

June 2008 to Nov 2014 (Assistant Manager Dyeing) at Amson's Textiles

Mills.

As ADM & Shift In charge, my responsibilities were:

I was responsible for the Dyeing of fabric in bulk, my major

responsibilities in my department are

. Color matching (sampling with customers approved swatch through visual

and computer color match system (Data Color) and then run the

production in bulk.

. Recipe formulation and then color (liquor) formation for bulk

production, estimation of dyes and auxiliaries required quantities

according to final shade recipe and costing.

. Quality control throughout the production.

. Washing of dyed fabric by keeping all customers specification

regarding quality control (like washing fastness, rubbing etc).

. Random inspection of fabric during dyeing, washing and finishing

avoiding any fault (like creases, spots, listing, shade out etc) that

can occur during the processes.

. Quick rectification of any fault during process and right time

decision regarding running or stop the production.

. Keeping and maintaining CMC or CIE Standards of shade under 1

throughout the dyeing process to avoid tailing in shade.

. I am well experienced in Dyeing with Reactive dyes, Vat dyes, Disperse

dyes, sulpher dyes (Only for Jigger), pigments and optical white.

. I have worked on different types of fabric like

satin(80*80/240*240),flannel(22*8/40*38),percale(20*16/108*56),sheeting

(20*20/60*60),twill(20*16/128*60),drill(6*7/68*38),bfc,poplin(20*20/108

*58),canvas(20*10) and terry towels

. Topping, Tinting, stripping and other useful techniques to rectify

problems in shade of fabric or others.

Beside this, I also responsible for following very important tasks, which

are

. Maintenance of each machine as per recommended schedule by maintenance

department.

. Managing & Keeping all machines ready for next assignment.

. Shift and machines staff management.

. Continuously in touch with Store and laboratory for required Dyes and

auxiliaries.

. Continuously in touch with Pretreatment Department for knowing latest

ready for dyeing fabric status.

. Continuously In touch with Dispatch department for dispatching shades

to finish folding department.

. Following finish folding department and listing room consistently to

know about latest QC report of dyed fabric regarding number of

accepted shades and rejected and their reasons.

. Continuously in touch with Laboratory (QC, R&D) to know about the

fastness and other desired tests reports of running shades.

Advise and recommend finishing department the desired parameters for

finishing of dyed fabric as it can affect the shade.

Operations Manager ( December 2014 To Present)

Stitch & Wear, A Textiles, Uniforms and Readymade garments manufacturers

and traders based in Karachi Pakistan. Their main focus is to provide

Uniforms to education sector, hospitality. Security, airline, corporate and

transport sector etc within Pakistan and overseas as well.

Responsibilities as Operation In charge:

. Overall management of production operations including pre-production

management.

. Conduct pre-production meeting to determine order/quantity allocations

and order/delivery requirements.

. Monitor actual production output on a day to day basis and work within

the production lead-time allocated for each style running in the

production line and take necessary actions to prevent failure in

meeting the delivery schedule.

. Resolve day to day production issues to meet daily/monthly production

targets
