PROJECTS:
1. Logistics Network Design & Distribution Plan Optimization
Analyzed the network design and distribution decisions of company in introducing its product in a new metropolitan city.
2. Modelling and Implementing a Risk Mitigation Framework in Alcoa
I developed a risk mitigation methodology which we implemented in Alcoa. It was proved that using this methodology we found 10%
more risk causing events within two weeks of implementation.
3. Designing a Safety System inside Y12
The risk mitigation methodology which I developed was applied to nuclear environment with a few changes. The project proved the
versatility of the methodology and its application.
4. Project Eric
Utilized assistive technology to remove communication barriers in the public transportation systems for passengers with disabilities. I
worked on surveys and surveyed people on buses to identify barriers.
5. Activation Area Process Flow Optimization in Johnson Matthey
The project is to use lean tools in the chemical industry to increase the production allied with the increase of capacity. We increased
the production by 26% from previous months production.
6. Optimization of Product Sample Analysis in Johnson Matthey
The project is to apply lean tools in the quality lab. We achieved a reduction in lead time of 18%, also we brought in sustainability
proposing a new template for recording values.
7. Design and Fabrication of Portable Brick Manufacturing Machine
A semiautomatic brick manufacturing machine was designed and fabricated to make bricks at a reduced cost. I designed the machine
in ProE and fabricated the actuator mechanism for the machine.
8. Slotter Attachment in Lathe
The project dealt with an attachment of a slider crank mechanism to the lathe machine which could be used to make slots and
keyways which is same as a real slotter machine. I designed the slider crank mechanism to be used in the attachment.
