FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY
All my positions are affiliated with intellectual and physical disabled individuals. I have gained a thorough knowledge of medical coding, writing education plans for individuals, and office administration systems and procedures. I provided a variety of administrative support by accomplishing clerical, statistical, and data entry tasks. This administrative work used an automated data processing system to create and delete files, search files and records, store or extract material from a variety of software packages to include word processing software. I type a variety of narrative and tabular material utilizing the full range of keys, codes, proofing symbols, functions and applications to develop products in final form. This material includes educational plans, reports, correspondence, and technical papers. These educational plans are implemented to enhance independent living. I correct errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation by referring to dictionaries, style manuals and established policies. I answer telephones and personal inquires relative to the activities of the office. My positions are Positions of Public Trust, and I take this Trust very seriously. I am presently the part owner of a 200-acre cattle farm in which I perform all clerical work as well as maintain all farm records, calculate taxes, and complete payroll. This experience provided an excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing. I am an Honorary Board Member of the Association of the Rights of Citizens with Developmental Disabilities in Pearl River County; therefore, I travel within the county locating and providing any needed assistance to these special residents of our county.

This requires an excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing to understand the specifications of the employer. Intermingle with Human Resource Managers, Accounting Managers, and Presidents of various types of companies. After the problems are identified and solved, I then select the correct individual to accomplish the tasks. I train these individuals to complete the employment tasks. These employment tasks are performed at both employers’ locations in the community and at the sheltered employment site. I am responsible for the record keeping concerning these jobs such as, but not limited to, calculating individual’s hours, billing information, payroll, and documentation of the information used for Medicaid billing to the state of Mississippi. These responsibilities are handled using many different computer applications and systems.
