NATURE OF THE WORK:

I. MAHARASHTRA HYBRID SEED COMPANY LTD (MAHYCO) - 2006 to 2016:

A.REGULATORY TRIALS CONDUCTED FROM TAMILNADU:

(I) MLRT COTTON OR TRANSGENIC COTTON :( GENETIC MANIPULATED BOLLGARD COTTON)

I have more knowledge about conducting regulatory trials like MLRT Cotton of BGI (Cry 1Ac), BGII (Cry 1Ac + Cry 2Ab) both type of cotton having the event of MON 531and MON15985 for Highly resistant against the pests of Cotton Bollworm like American Bollworm - Helicoverpa armigera,Spotted Bollowrm-Earias vitella,Earias insulana Pink Bollworm – Pectinophora gossypiella and Tobacco Bollworm – Spodoptera litura.

Submit the Approval letter from GEAC/MOEF to the Secretary of Agriculture, Dept of Agriculture, State Agricultural Universities, and Joint directors of Agriculture from Concern Districts of Tamilnadu. Trials conducted in cotton growing areas of farmer field, Research farm and Institute field. Take the quantitative and qualitative observation as per protocol.

Visually observed Bt Cotton highly tolerance to Bollworm where as Non Bt highly susceptible and number of spraying was done very less for Bt cotton and non Bt was more. Sample also taken for Quality Purpose.

Co ordination with marketing team to field visit at the time of Fruit bearing and Picking stage

(II) MLRT BRINJAL OR TRANSGENIC BRINJAL :( GENETIC MANIPULATED BRINJAL)

MLRT Brinjal trials mainly for controlling the pests of Fruit & Shoot borer (FSB) – Leucinodes orbanalis from the all the stages of plant growth.

Submit the Approval letters from GEAC/MOEF to State Agrl University, Secretary of Agriculture, Commissioner of Agriculture and Joint Director of Agriculture from Coimbatore districts.

Brinjal trials conducted Research farm, farmer field of all over tamilnadu and Institute like TNAU.To take quantitative and qualitative observation as per protocol.

And the Bt brinjal found more yield & High resistance to Shoot borer, whereas Non Bt brinjal have done more spraying and shoot borer incidence also more, and that yield also reduced due to more incidence of shoot borer.

Co ordination with marketing team to visit trial field at the time of Fruit bearing and Fruit Picking stage

(III) MLRT PADDY OR TRANSGENIC RICE :( GENETIC MANIPULATED PADDY)

This technology is used to the pests of Yellow stem borer (YSB) Scripophaga incertulus and Leaf folder Cnaphalocrocis medinalis

Submit the Approval letter of GEAC/MOEF to the concern government officials from tamilnadu,and State Agricultural university

Paddy growing in farmer field,Research farm to take quantitative and qualitative observation

Bt Rice field Stem borer and leaf folder incidence was very less compare to Non Bt Rice

Invite the central team to visits the trials at proper stage of the crop.

(IV) ROUNDUP READY FLEX COTTON (RRF) FOR BOTH BRL I & BRL II COTTON :( TECHNOLOGY FOR HERBICIDE TOLERENCE)

RRF BRL I & BRL II Trials were conducted and co ordinate with Central Institute for Cotton Research (CICR) the in charge of Dr.K.Sankaranarayanan,Principal Scinetist,CICR,Coimbatore

Roundup ready flex cotton having the event of MON 531 x MON 15985 and MON 88913 for the presence of Crystal protein of Cry 1 Ac +Cry 2 Ab + CP4 EPSPS(5 Enol pyruvate shikimate Pathway),This technology control the all three major bollworm and additionally control Weeds.

Submit GEAC/MOEF approval letters to government scientist and acknowledge the same.

Roundup sprayed entries perform well and weed growth arrested, Plant growth was good, whereas Non Sprayed field Become more weed growth and plant growth stunted, simultaneously the yield also minimized..

(V) STATE AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY (SAU) TRIALS IN TNAU AND AICCIP TRIALS IN CICR:

Submission of Cotton Seeds to TNAU,Dept of Cotton for Evaluation of New hybrids

AICCIP (All Indian Co ordinate Cotton Improvement Project) We have submit the Cotton seeds to Central Instituite for Cotton Research for Checking North, South And Central Zone Entries

(VI) OKRA ISOLATION AND COTTON PRODUCTION:

Cotton and Okra production done in our farm and farmer field of lease land in Coimbatore location. and Salem Cotton production in farmer field with help of Organizer

GOT and GP done in farmer field till to flowering stage

Ginning and Milling done as per the quantity.

Based on GOT and GP we have give the amount to farmer

B.SALES & MARKET DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES :( STRIP TRIALS, LST, MLT, Product Evaluation Trials (PET), Demo trial - COTTON, VEGETABLES & FARM ACTIVITIES)

Field Selection with help of local dealer,distributor,marketing staff and progressive farmer

Regularly visited dealer and distributor for collection and give description of future products, visits of farmer fields.

All trials conducted in all over tamilnadu for evaluation of our hybrids with competitor to find high yielding hybrids and well suited particular localities

This all trials (Cotton, field crops and vegetables) carried out from sowing to until harvest level to take all quantitative and qualitative observation taken in proper crop stage. Co ordination with Sales &Marketing staff.

Conducting campaigning, posters, leaflets and pamphlets for all over tamilnadu both vegetable & field crops.

To arrange Technical field assistant meeting conducted both marketing staff and Research staff to give information about our product.

Farmers meeting conducted to all over tamilnadu (15-20 meeting) and invite dealers, distributors and progressive farmers of the particular village to promote our products.

Dealers meeting conducted nearly 100-120 dealers and distributors participated that meeting, to describe the product details.

Finally farmer mela conducted to particular area of progressive farmer field to show the difference to our products and competitor products (Yield,disease,sucking pest tolerance)

Conduct & Support the okra isolation in Coimbatore areas & get the above the Expected yield.

And I have much knowledge about the cotton production & Quality Control from the farmer’s field

II. VIKRAM SEEDS PVT LTD -2005-2006:

Conducting Coordinating Bt cotton Regulatory trials like RCGM, LST, and MLT from different districts of tamilnadu.

Take the observation weekly & monthly basis. & Monitoring MEC Team members at the time of Final visit for Hybrid Approval

And I have more experience in Production & Quality control from sowing to flowering take GOT (Grow Out Test) observation to various location and given the reports to Production department for further Process Commercialization.
