Dear Church family,
This letter is in reference to the Ministry position with you in our Lords
Church. As a pastor who understands the nuances of the contemporary church
in a contentious culture it is my desire to continue to fulfill my calling,
as described by Paul in II Timothy 4:2, to share the word in all seasons. I
enjoy preaching and teaching the word of God at every opportunity, in
multiple venues and enjoy the various approaches to worship used in the
Church today. I strive to keep every message and lesson well prepared and
combined with a unique, upbeat and interesting delivery that resonates with
all generations and keeps attendees engaged. I understand what a blessing
it is to experience his amazing grace and with divorce in my history I am a
grateful recipient of that fact and honored that He continues to minister
to me and use me to help others in various life situations. I will remain a
pioneer and leader for years to come in Christ’s body the church and
eagerly anticipate the doors He opens for continued service in his kingdom.
I am a graduate of Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri and have
over 30 years of experience as a full time Preaching/Senior Minister. You

Background:
While in High School, I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior and was baptized
at the Grenola Christian Church in Grenola, Kansas.
Decision:
The Grenola Christian Church ordained me into the ministry on July 6, 1980
and I have had the privilege and honor of continuing to do so ever sense.
Education:
High School - Central of Burden, USD #462, Burden, Kansas 1974.
Ozark Christian (Bible) College, 1111 N. Main, Joplin, Missouri 64801
Bachelor of Theology Degree, Preaching Ministry 1974-1980. (160 credit
hours; equivalent to masters)
Extensive studies in Christian Growth, Evangelism, Counseling and Equipping
Ministry. (NACC and other state conventions)
Attendance at several seminars including the Institute for Motivational
Living: Behavior Analyst and Conflict Management.
Effective Areas:
In my estimation my most effective areas of service are preaching,
teaching, counseling, multiple staff coordination and development,
outreach, membership development and training including mentoring and
equipping others to serve in their areas of giftedness abd calling.
Emphasis in my ministry include:
The essential task of taking the gospel to the world and equipping
