gap analysis, and implementation plan. Mr. Watson also played a pivotal role in developing and implementing a
site-specific deployment/readiness plan across 10 sites representing ~10,000 employees.

Mr. Watson performed change management and training activities for a new computer system used by 3000
Customer Service Representatives. Training consisted of a blend of technical and interpersonal skills for call
center personnel. Participant ratings for the each course consistently averaged 4.5 on a 5-point scale. Mr.
Watson designed a variety of training initiatives including instructor-led, learner-controlled, and CBT.
International Pharmaceutical Company
Designed three-day leadership development course for managers and supervisors. This included performing
needs assessment, job analyses, and course development.
Fortune 100 Managed Care Company
Mr. Watson implemented a Performance Management initiative aimed specifically at producing better business
results within a nine-month time frame. To do this, he coached executives on developing, aligning, and
cascading Balanced Scorecard metrics targets. He implemented a three-day cascaded training for 300+
managers and supervisors on how to improve business results through process improvement and performance
management activities. He trained 15 employees to be performance improvement coaches to support and
sustain what was learned in training. Mr. Watson also coached process improvement teams on how to execute
new/changed processes. Results indicate an average of 30% improvement on call center and claims measures.
Global Engineering and Construction Company
Mr. Watson delivered training, facilitated groups in process redesign, and facilitated groups in the identification
and quantification of desired business results. He coached executives on developing pinpointed action plans for
supporting change initiatives.

Consortium Fellow, Army Research Institute (ARI)
Mr. Watson developed and evaluated a computer-based training curriculum for the U.S. Army. He applied adult learning principles
to train soldiers to recognize and identify combat vehicles based on thermal signatures (i.e., FLIR). He conducted field experiments
to develop and evaluate training programs on the use of night vision goggles for the U.S. Army. He also participated in literature
reviews, experimental design, instructional design, data collection/analyses, and report writing.
