LEADERSHIP

As a Communications Watch Supervisor I had the opportunity to train test and lead several groups of

Young Sailors to help in their careers. This experience allowed me to be successful in my civilian

Life at Metro Sales and Pitney Bowes.

Experience

SR FIELD SUPERVISOR/FIELD TECH METRO SALES DEC 1996 – MAY 2014

Full line service technician and the Rochester Branch Supervisor positions allow me to train and supervise new employee to the standards set by upper management. This supported both the Sales Deptartment and the individual technicians to achieve prescribed goals. Metro Sales is a Six Sigma company.

DMT ONSITE MPS/FPS MAIL INSERTER TECHNICIAN PITNEY BOWES JUNE 2014 – MAY 2016

Serviced and repaired Mps and Fps high speed mail insertion machines at the Wells Fargo Secure facility in Shoreview Mn. This required many hours of overtime at the end of quarter/month for banking reports and 6 weeks straight working at the end of year. A very challenging and rewarding experience.

DESIGN/FABRICATE AND LICENCE 3 WHEEL MOTORCYCLE SELF EMPLOYED MAY 2016 – PRESENT

This has been a very rewarding experience. I have placed 3rd of 13 Custom Trikes in a national contest. I built a prototype for a hand control only, wheel chair equipped machine for returning paraplegic servicemen and woman. Due to financial restraints, I will have to continue as a hobbyist vs a company.

During my enlistment in the U.S. Navy I served on 4 Ships as a landing craft radiomen, teletype technician leading up to being one of the Navies liaisons to General Dynamics and other contractors for the Tomahawk Cruise Missile Program’s Satellite Control onboard the U.S.S. Merrill DD-976. While serving onboard the U.S.S. Estocin FFG-15 during the start of a Multinational defense exercise I received a Letter of Accommodation from the Commander of the 7th Fleet for executing a plan of my own devise that saved the exercise from being cancelled because of technical mishaps onboard the Battle Groups carrier and lead Cruiser. This saved the taxpayers several million dollars both of wasted fuel and readiness training for a group of 60 plus ships.
