GameStop incorporated a third-party service (Accertify) to ensure better fraud check operation. With POS-analyzed sales data, figure out how well all the items on your shelves sell, and adjust purchasing levels accordingly. Maintained a sales history to help adjust your buying decisions for seasonal purchasing trends. Improve pricing accuracy by integrating bar-code scanners and credit card authorization ability with the POS system. Testing was performed on service layer with fully automated tests. PayPal was introduced as an additional option for payment for a better revenue opportunity on the main site.
