Performed a Global review of the firm’s Data Centers highlighting existing capacity concerns and lack of consistent organizational and management processes. Joint IT/Critical Facilities recommendations for the remedying of the situation submitted in Jan ’04.

Managed the separation of CSFB and Pershing post sale to BONY. This involved the surgical separation of the joint network supporting both the Production and DR environments of both firms. Managed the negotiations surrounding technology facility leasing, DR facility sharing and risk management of the TSA and longer-term business/technical impact of the environment post separation. Awarded the firms highest honor - CSFB One award - for efforts.

Director of Disaster Recovery Americas – 11/00-1/03

Following DLJ merger with CSFB, assumed responsibility for the delivery of Disaster Recovery infrastructure in the Americas. Key successes included:

Implementation of $6.3m recovery solution for Front Office trading environment including Private Wire fail over and Market Data Services and Exchange Connectivity, Re-fit of the DR facilities to current technology standards by redeploying equipment obtained via the DLJ merger and Voice Recovery for Trading (Turrets) and dial tone (PBX) including conversion to QSIG, AIN redirection and CO redundancy.

Delivery of 410 back-office contingency seats via a 3rd party provider.

Design & implementation of WAN and LAN configuration at 4 recovery facilities.

Delivery of all common infrastructure disaster recovery components, to include email and remote access, utilizing latest Storage Area Networking Technologies.

Member of the Securities Industry Association BCP/DR Working Committee.
