Supervised $40M, Rancho Santa Fe school project (R. Roger Rowe Middle School) demolition and reconstruction. Demolished existing asbestos filled buildings maintaining safe air quality monitored by (AQMD) by means of containment. Replaced with six two-story structural steel frame buildings. Placement of all permanent underground appurtenances supporting new buildings. Installed 27 interim housing units and all temporary utilities to allow continuation of summer school. Worked closely with (Rancho Santa Fe Fire Department) to ensure school safety during (Fire Life Safety) equipment disablement. Managed installation of seven-acre parking lot. Worked closely with public works inspector to remove old (transite) sewer line and install new.

Met weekly with Rancho Santa Fe Art Jury & design team (Architect & Engineer,) to obtain approval for architectural design and changes.

Target Store San Diego, CA

Supervised a $19M, 4-1/2 month remodeling of an operating Target store. Added tenant Improvements removal / demolition of existing interiors for a complete modernized interior, adding nursery, food court, and Starbucks. Managed five subcontractors and crews. Performed work after normal store hours, leaving

store safe and clean for next day operation. Worked closely with designers and architects to resolve schedule and design issues. Followed all building codes as well as Target specialized requirements.

Supervised $32M, school project to construct, new structural steel / masonry gymnasium, hardwood floor, acoustical wall panels, shot clocks, score boards, back boards/stops, bleachers, Volleyball court. Four structural steel / masonry classroom buildings, & dance studios, all interior build out / finishes. Installation of all supporting underground appurtenances. Removed old asphalt parking lots, replacing with new adhering to Cal Trans material standards. Worked closely with (DSA) Architect, Engineer, & Inspectors as to adhere to all CA, State codes.

$25M, project to construct (2) five-story, structural steel medical office buildings with severe logistical and dust control requirements. Working with in (AQMD) air quality specifications to manage dust control.

Worked closely with subcontractors to develop policies and procedures to adhere to specifications, and to develop a safe and accommodating material delivery method, procurement, scheduling, and coordination.

Managed difficult logistics of an $8.5M Medical office tenant improvement project with minimal space and lay down area due to nearby hospital emergency entrance. Including construction of (MRI) & (CT) facilities to code specification. Meeting weekly with design team to ensure all specification were met. To contain any and all radiation while in operation. Coordinated (County approved traffic control routes) to maintain emergency room access while under construction.

Fantasy Springs Indian Hotel & Casino Indio, CA

Oversaw installation of all under ground utilities supporting a 12 story Hotel Casino, event center, 1 swimming pool, 5 large water features, 4 acre asphalt and paving stone parking lot. Met timing and profit margin goals.

Nordstrom’s Clothing Store

Tenant improvement remodel and seismic upgrade for earthquake retrofit of a Nordstrom clothing store at South Coast Plaza shopping mall in Costa Mesa, CA.

Supervise and manage 12 subcontractors and 5 full time employees on the job site. Meeting weekly with design team & store management to ensure schedule was maintained with minimal interference with daily store operations.

Duties include project coordination and scheduling with subcontractors (concrete, iron working, carpet and tile, mill working, and painting), property owners, store management and employees.

Maintain a safe working environment adhering to both City and State OSHA requirements.
