Sales Branch Manager Sept 2009- Aug 2016

Electro Enterprises, Inc. Oklahoma City, OK. Branch office was in Valencia, CA.

With the Corporate downsizing of Astrex, I negotiated the opening of a prosperous Branch office with Electro while securing the employment of key personnel from Astrex.

Within the first year, our Sales contribution of Mil-Aero Connectors and like products ranked 3rd in Corporate Sales and surpassed several well established Branch locations with a new Customer base primarily with Aerospace Cable Assembly products. This included marketing and establishing sturdy relationships with Customers/Manufactures and handling Customer RFQ’s, Orders, expedites shipments, direct the placement of PO and collections. Maintained well over 300 active Customers and concentrated on large OEM, Sub-Contractor business. I managed several LTAs & Feed Bin Contracts. The Branch closed in Sept 2016 with $17M in annual Sales.

Sales Manager Jul 2005 to Sept 2009

Astrex Electronics, Inc. Plainview, NY, Now TTI. Branch office in Valencia, CA.

Responsible for managing all aspects of a Branch office (H/R, office equipment, trouble-shooting computers, training) Daily Sales Mgr functions would include review/discuss quote strategies, orders, shipments, backlog and post/discuss individual run rates and Branch Goals. I would also initiate, govern & create reports to Corporate with the Branch Sales promotions and Sales Initiatives. Great communication skills with all departments to offer strategies to win projects, resolve Customer issues and firefight the emergencies. Additionally, I would handle any new account opportunities referred from our Manufacturing Partners that needed special care

I was in charge of annual forecasts, meeting Purchasing budgets with the main focus on purchasing components to meet a 3 turn per Quarter Inventory for Value-added Assembly of Connectors and all other Product lines. I also managed the Sales operations & staff while consistently met EBITDA goals.

Senior Buyer Mar 2003 to Oct 2003

Aerospace Dynamics International, now PCC Aerostructures, Valencia, CA

Responsible for purchasing for A380 program, all shop supplies, custom Dies for 5 axis milling machines and procured metal bar & sheet for wing assemblies, ribs & spars. I successfully negotiated LTA for MEK direct from the Oil Mfr, reducing cost of material by 10% and I was able to also reduce freight costs by 23% with the Freight forwarder. Responsible for purchasing, expediting, and was a liaison for payment to Vendors. I contributed to daily production meetings, lean manufacturing and Safety Compliance meetings with production management.

Asset Manager Sept 99 to Mar 2003

Ram Enterprises, Inc., Company merged & became RAD Mil-Aero, Valencia, CA

Asset/Purchasing Manager and was successful in Product managing 2 newly formed value added programs for Deutsch. I was responsible for creating Bill of Materials, purchases, and supervised Materials Department. I successfully launched a pricing policy with Sales which resulted in appreciable profit increases and revenue.

Tri-Star Aerospace/Standard Parts and Equipment, Inc., Long Beach, CA

Overall responsibility was selling aerospace hardware to key Customers in the Aerospace/Commercial market. I also worked as a Field Sales 1-2 days a week in LA territory to meet with Strategic Customers to increase market share. With my knowledge of commodities, Mil Spec and SAE Spec products I additionally contributed over $600K in annually Sales of non franchised items.

This was a newly formed division to sell commodities other than hardware to Airlines. I was responsible for sales, source control, blanket purchases and critical scheduling. In May 1994, there was a conflict between upper Management resulting in the closing this division. I accepted a position as an Account Manager in Aircraft Hardware where I began with little knowledge of the commodity yet within 1 year I became one of their top producers in Sales.
