EDM (Electronic Data Management) program is for converting all the documents in to image format and stored in electronically. Commercial LOB is one of the major parts in EDM program. It has two major tracks Middle Market (MM) and Business Insurance (BI).

Middle Market (MM): EDM process deals with indexing of New Business submission (Acord forms) for Middle Market segment of Hartford commercial insurance. This includes review of various Acord forms and keying in the data available on the forms aiding in building the account for the submission and further in aiding the Underwriter to take a decision basis the information captured by the indexing team.

Business Insurance (BI): The Hartford receives major requests from agents or insured’s annually for Business Insurance. These documents are received in the form of faxes, email and paper the documents include New Business transactions, Policy Change transactions and Professional Support transactions. Employee Sales (Company Store)

This is an intranet web-site used by Nestlé employees to buy Nestlé products from the Company Store. This is primarily used by employees at locations which do not have a Company Store of it.

EVMI-Vendor Managed Inventory:

This is a web-site which displays material requirements of Nestlé plants from respective Vendors. Requirements are provided on various horizons like daily, weekly and monthly. The requirements are fetched from SAP BW system.

FSI Market Lists:

The Marketing and Promotion team prints various discount coupons in various magazines and dailies. The News agencies provide a list of slots available in various magazines to Nestlé. Then the marketing team selects the slots by importing them into the FSI system.

Beverage Equipment Tracking (BET):

A desktop application used to track and monitor beverage equipment’s placed at various outlets and malls. This system is used to raise new beverage equipment’s requests, create service requests for the equipment’s and calculate book value of each equipment based on the depreciation value of the equipment’s.
