PROFILE

My name is Randy Lynn Curl and I have been working in rock quarries, sand and gravel pits and coal mines for the past 15 years.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

For the majority of my career I have spent most of my time in maintenance repairing, rebuilding and maintaining industrial machinery. Along with trouble shooting problems in the plants and setting up plants. I worked at the central shop for Martin Marietta where we welded and fabricated chutes, hoppers, head boxes, rebuilt and relined loader buckets, track hoe buckets, rebuilt crushers and screens,conveyers,and anything else pertaining to the plant or heavy equipment. It was our job to keep it up and running. Right now I work for erected Steel Products where we build water and chemical tanks for plants and gas plants. Almost everything we do is wire welded but I have more then 10 years experience in stick welding from working in rock quarries. I can also arc gauge, run a plasma cutter and track cutter. I have also had classes on all types of screens, crushers, conveying equipment, water pumps, material handling pumps, cynfifcila pumps and etc. I am a millwright and pipe welder, structural steel welder, wire welder, AR plate, stainless steel, and mild steel.

OTHER SKILLS

I can run a front end loader up to 992 CAT, track hoes up to 380 CAT, dozer D10,777, CAT rock trucks water trucks, john henry drills, bobcats, boom trucks, and cranes overhead and mobile. I have also operated one rock plant.

CERTIFICATIONS

I’m certified in Cribbing and Rigging by Ace Cribbing And Rigging. I am also signed off on all the heavy equipment, have taken and passed all the brake tests for welding(all positions). I also passed my wire welding test for Erected Steel Products for the tanks.

EDUCATION

GED by Virginia Tech. Metso minerals for cone crushers,Dyster for screen shakers and grizzly mobile oil, Martin for convey systems, Grasson for hazmag,screens,conveyors, Tail Smith for jaw crushers, and cyntrical pumps( can’t remember that company name).

OBJECTIVE

My objective is to work hard and to learn all that I can about my job so I can do a good job and so that I will be a good asset to my employer and to my family.
