Environmental Site Investigations

Soil and groundwater quality investigation at a former agricultural distribution facility in central California for Occidental Chemical Corporation. Teamed with the property owner’s consultant to share information so that joint investigative efforts were directed towards a common goal.

Vertical aquifer characterization for PCE/TCE presence and source determination at four sites. One of the Sites was a PRP site in Washington. Worked with other site consultants to conduct a joint investigation and was able to successfully remove client from the PRP group due to documented lack of impact. Budget $1.1M.

• Soil and groundwater quality investigation at agricultural chemical production facility in central California for J.R. Simplot Company. Teamed with existing consultant to formulate a joint investigation directed towards source delineation.

• Groundwater investigation at a former asphaltic roof manufacturing facility in southern California for the Saint-Gobain Corporation. Assisted Saint-Gobain in preparing documentation seeking reimbursement under due diligence laws.

• Soil and groundwater investigation at a glass ware production facility in southern California for Libbey Glass.

• Soil and groundwater investigation at an automobile battery manufacturing facility in southern California for Delphi Corporation.

• Soil and groundwater investigation at a farm equipment resale facility in central California for a confidential client.

• Served as the Environmental Manager for Sharpe Army Depot. Responsible for all aspects of their environmental efforts including overseeing subcontractors, managing budgets, evaluating remedial technologies, regulatory negotiations, public awareness, and staff management. Annual budget $1.5M

• Designed and managed soil removal program in Los Angeles, California for the Saint-Gobain Corporation. Over 10,000 tons of petroleum impacted soil excavated and thermally treated. Budget $1.2M
