To save monies on the Project due to unforeseen change orders, the District had to make several budget-cuts. The entire Electronics Package was cut from the budget. My employer, NetVersant was asked to offer a solution. Working with Dan Drake, our new Business Development Manager. Both of us researched and interviewed companies to determine the best fit for the project.

I connected over 80+ Classroom TV's to ONE Comcast Connection D'marc for the School. I extended this D'marc over 700-Feet to the Computer Room. All 80+, TV's could watch any of the Comcast Program Channels all at once. Or select any channel that the School had prescribed from Comcast and watch any channel simultaneously with a perfect picture. This Digital system I personally installed in the Main Computer Room worked on the very first initialization without any adjustments to the CAT5e Cable, or TV's. The General Contractor and Architectural Company for the project inspected the Engineering, Installation, and all Electronic Components. After they visited every location and saw that the system was very stable and worked perfectly. The GC, Architect, along with the School Board District Manager signed-off on the system. My duties included, assigning and designing Fiber Strands for their Networked State Office Buildings, Cameras, and Life Safety Equipment. I also managed all of the Long Haul Fiber Network connections for the State. I was responsible for assigning and designing Fiber strands for each of the States Traffic Signal Controllers (Stop-Lights). In the field I engineered Splicing Solutions to connect them back through the Networks Distribution Fiber cables. Then to the Head-End Equipment located at the various Site Locations

(HUBS) throughout the State. Reliable Telecom Inc. was awarded a State Sole-Source Contract due to the Level of our work; and due to the level of deliverables that we provided to the State of Delaware DOT. I started and completed a (3.5) Year project for the State mapping all of the Fiber in the State. I documented all Fiber Tips & their connections, and all splices in all Splice Cases through-out the State. I would receive this information from my Techs in the field. I would build this information into VISIO-Documentation for the State, City-Block by City-Block, Man-hole to Man-hole, Splice case to splice case.

I was requested to write Procedures of “Methods of Operations, Standards & Practices for the State Department of Transportation.” I was also asked by Bill Lee, to develop a 10-Year Plan for the state. I included a new Plotted State Map for new Fiber-HUB locations. This would save the State Rent money and Third-party involvement for access. I developed Hardened Traffic controllers located within State owned Property. I engineered new splice and fiber assignments to evacuate 3rd party owned buildings and moved the connections to a hardened shelter for easier access, and control for the State and their Traffic Technicians. I delivered these to Bill Lee, and they were reviewed and accepted by the State of Delaware DOT. The Standards & Practices were also accepted, then put into place to qualify Contractors for all future DOT work in the State.

The Companies Fiber Techs and I, transformed the States 25% documented network, to a 100% documented Statewide Network. We also corrected the States working 43% Fiber Network to a 98% working Fiber Network. We re-engineered the CORE and Main-Distribution Fiber Network Fiber Cable in and out of the DEMA Facility for the entire State of Delaware. We documented 100% of all the Fiber in the State back to the DEMA Building, Remote-Network Hubs, the Main State Government Building, and others locations. There are other Skills, Test Equipment and Assets I possess. My Local 98 Senior Technician Card Number is A139031. I have and hold a Current 2014 BICSI Installer's & Technician Certification. I also have my PSM Certificate/Card which allows me to work inside of Refineries and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers. I am active and in good Health, I am a safe worker. I have never had any of my crew-members ever miss work due to injury on a Job that I was responsible for. I want to work for a Company who has Projects that I can help them be successful with. I am a Self -Starter. I have 30-years' of experience working in the field, and in various Employers Offices, assisting them with “In the field knowledge of scheduling labor, talent, and material cost,” to assist with the competitive bidding of work. I am looking for the opportunity, to become a member of your Team. Work History
