PROJECTS
Senior Design Project Spring 2015
Collaborated on the design of a natural gas plant to process stranded gas produced as a byproduct of oil retrieval via hydraulic fracturing in the Bakken shale region of North Dakota.
oThe target market was analyzed and products were selected based on the make-up of the stranded gas being fed to the plant.
oA plant design was drawn up, simulated and optimized utilizing Aspen process simulation software.
oEquipment was sized based on the Aspen simulation and appropriate materials were chosen to make the process cost effective.
