EXPERIENCE

PROGRESSIVE PRINTERS; DAYTON, OH -- PRESSROOM SUPERVISOR 2/1999- PRESENT In February 1999 Progressive Printers and BFS merged into one company. I transferred from BFS to Progressive to become the Pressroom Supervisor. I also run an 8 color Miller press. As the pressroom supervisor I am responsible for final approval on all jobs that are run and picking samples after they are completed. My additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ordering of the pressroom supplies, mixing of custom ink colors and custom color matching, repairing and maintaining all the the presses, scheduling the running order of jobs, scheduling of pressmen and helpers, hiring of pressroom employees, production meetings with clients and salesmen, point of contact for outside repairmen and vendors. Other duties and functions required to operate and maintain work flow and customer relations at a high level of efficiency and professionalism. Training and development of new pressmen.

BFS Printing; Dayton, OH -- Pressroom Supervisor 1/1985-2/1999 1st shift supervisor and 6 color pressman. I was responsible for 2 Miller TP 104 6 color presses, Miller TH104 2 color press and Harris LWQ 2 color press. As a pressroom supervisor I was responsible for final approval on all jobs before running and picking the samples after they were completed. Additional responsibilities included ordering pressroom supplies and the maintenance of all presses. Training and development of new pressmen Kuns Printing; Dayton, OH -- Pressman 1/1980-1/1985 Press experience included Harris LUM 2 color, Harris 19X25 single color, Komori Sprint 2 color and ATF Chief 15 single color presses. Supervisor and management experience as well as experience in execution of the production schedule and ordering of pressroom supplies. Mixing of custom inks and custom color matching. Strong interpersonal skills, team player with the ability to lead, coach and develop a team. I have trained several pressmen.
