PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Bombardier Aerospace, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Mechanical Design Engineer (Interior Completion Engineer - Electrical Team) July 2015 – Present

Focal of Interior team for Bonding, Grounding (chassis ground, signal ground and shield ground), Lighting (compartment light, mini-spot light, accent light and mirror light), Sensors (Inductive, Capacitive, Magnetic, and Photoelectric), Electrical Component Install (fan, EIU, speaker, camera, galley control panel and etc.), Harness Installation and EWIS Provision.

Participated in Research and Development (R&D) studies to develop and integrate new systems and technologies.

Cooperated with Systems (Misc, Appliance and Lighting) to update the ESSD (Electrical System Schematic Dataset) to encompass the changes and communicated them with EWIS Integrators.

Verified system performance through analyses, rig and aircraft testing.

Supported for the analysis of units that are failed on particular test, including root cause determination, and resolving other allied issues.

Cooperated with EWIS Designers to finalize the Harnesses, Connectors and Grounding locations.

Temporary joined WP4 Completions Testing, worked with Methods and investigated mistakes, missing harnesses or LRUs from 3D.

Supported Methods to produce HDR (Harness Data Report), Stick Diagram and Jig Board.

Created CSTR (Cabin Systems Test Rig) harnesses respecting wire segregation limitations and supplier wire length limitations and generated deliverables.

Bombardier Aerospace, Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Mechanical Design Engineer (Interior Completion Engineer - Cabinet Team) June 2013 – July 2015

Performed 3D detail design of Galley, Galley Full Height, LH Enclosure, Fwd Lav and Aft Lav of Global 7000/8000 using Enovia and Catia

Organized and attended IPDT (Integrated Product Development Team) meetings, PDR (Product Design Review), 3DDR (3D Design Review), DMU (Digital Mock-Up) and other technical meetings, taking into consideration industry regulations, Bombardier Aerospace design practices and requirements.

Created 2D drawing with working instructions and BOM to supply the line.

Worked with other groups such as Stress, Weights, Methods, Operations, Logistics, Customer Supports, Industrial Designs, Suppliers, and Certifications to ensure the design concepts take industry regulations into consideration.

Involved in DFMEA, PMFEA, FEA, Product drawings, Identification of key characteristics, control plan and design review processes.

Worked with different systems (such as Mechanical Installation, Water/Waste, Thermo, Decompression Features, CMS, Lighting, EWIS, ECS ducts and Misc Electrical Interfaces) to freeze the interface points by creating interface control drawing. (ICDs)

Created and revised engineering documentation: Drawings, 3D models, Advance Material Orders (AMOs), Product Change Requests (PCRs), Non Incorporated Engineering Orders (NIEOs) and Technical Reports.

Vibro-Acoustics, Markham, Ontario, Canada

Mechanical Designer (Internship) May 2012–Sep. 2012

Designed various HVAC silencers from estimating, proposal/approval drawings to shop drawings for manufacturing.

Designed Vibration Isolations and Seismic Restraint systems for HVAC, Piping, and Equipment in buildings.

Prepared detailed engineering designs, Solidworks and AutoCAD drawings and calculations for every project.

Proposed restraint requirements for mechanical equipment such as Air Handling Unit, Fan coil unit, Fan and Pumps.

Collaborated with project managers and field engineers for work plans and design reviews.

Thru-Way Trailers, Milton, Ontario, Canada

Junior Mechanical Designer (Co-op) Feb. 2012–Apr. 2012

Designed and manufactured heavy duty vehicle components and mobile equipment such as (Heavy haul trailers, Blade trailers, multiple axle combination trailers, Jeeps and Dollies, extensible trombone) along with variations of existing product lines using CAD tools such as AutoCAD Mechanical and 3D Modeling with SolidWorks

Performed FEA analysis (Static and Dynamic) using ANSYS, Beam2D and LoadExpert

Performed engineering bills of material and technical data packages for manufacturing shop, sales department, and vendors
