Description: Guardian Life Insurance is a leading and fourth largest mutual life insurance company in US. The company has specialized distribution channels set up by product line and has diversified product portfolio for individual life, disability income, group health insurance retirement services, and investment products such as mutual funds, securities, variable life insurance, and variable annuities.
Guardian was looking for ways to reduce cycle time and increase efficiency in the application, underwriting and issue processes. To that end, in 2003 Guardian undertook a project to re-engineer and automate the process in the home office while streamlining the entire sales process through integration tools in the field as well. To achieve this Guardian selected Navisys Front office tools to provide external calculation engine, business rule engine and a workflow system that would meet their needs without customizing software package beyond recognition.
The objective of the project is to assist Guardian in testing and / or automate the testing of policy administration system that was developed by Navisys.
