In charge of all compliance reporting for Tesoro’s Kenai, Alaska refinery NPDES permit, drinking water permits, and two groundwater remediation systems. Additional responsibilities included SARA Title III Form R and MSDS (Community Right-to-Know) reports. Worked closely with both State and Federal agencies to insure proactive responses to environmental issues at the facility.

Oversaw RCRA reporting and hazardous waste classification and shipments at the facility. Oil spill reporting and clean-up of contaminated sites were part of my regular duties. Supervised six to twenty four personnel (both Tesoro and contract employees) on a daily basis depending on activities at the facility. Performed audits of various areas within the facility for environmental and safety compliance.
