I am Rizia Uy Balatero, 27 years old and a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Philippines. I finished my chosen course on March 21, 2010. I took and passed the Philippine Nursing Board Examination held in Cebu City, Philippines last December 19-20, 2010.
As a registered nurse, I have worked for four years locally and abroad namely in the Philippines and in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With my work experience, I have gained the appropriate knowledge and skills in order to deliver quality patient care. I am very much confident with my competence in patient check-up, case analysis, medical terminology and other necessary aspects. Also, I am proficient in terms of collection, analysis and interpretation of medical data. I have also good communication competence both written and verbal and I have the willingness to serve people with great leadership qualities, good relation with patient and co-workers.
I have also satisfactorily completed necessary trainings such as my Basic Life Support-CPR with AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) courses provided by the Basic Lifesaving Solutions Training Center under Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI), and thus I am licensed to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and also I have undergone IV therapist training and is highly capable with IV insertions as well as blood extrations. I also have a good command with the English language and is able to communicate with basic Arabic as well. I am also knowledgeable in the usage of ECG machines and Audiogram machine.
