Project Title: AUTOMATION OF PNEUMATIC CONVEYOR VALVES USING PLC AND SCADA

Description:

To automate the process of pressure controlling valve and the closing and opening of the inlet, outlet valves by using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).The existing method is used by RLC (Relay Logic controller) and modified the plant by implementing PLC. The used PLC is Allen Bradely 1200 series.

Mini Project

Project Title: AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF APPLIANCES USING FPGA

Description

This is one of the simplest methods to provide automatic ON & OFF circuits. When we enter the room, lights are automatically ON depending upon the day and night times. Fans are ON, that depends on the temperature in the room. Similarly when we leave the room, lights and fans are automatically OFF, hereby we completely avoid wastage of electricity. We also introduce counters to count the number of people who enter the room, so that the lights and fans are OFF only when the entire people are out of the room. We implement this circuit using FPGA.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

Two times participate in higher secondary district level project expo.

Won first price in SILENT SCREAM event conducted by Jyothi Engineering College, Cheruthuruthy as part of the technical fest.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

Designated as Joint secretary of NSS in our college Unit during 2012-2014.

Widely Participated in NSS programs for Pre- Republic day Parade (Tamil Nadu), state level training program on Palliative Care for peer Educator of NSS Volunteers

State level workshop on water quality monitoring of Rural Water Supply Schemes and served in seven day special camp jointly organized by NSS and Kerala State Youth Welfare Board at Taluk Hospital.
