Traffic signal controller using VHDL

DESCRIPTION: Traffic signal controller generally uses constant delays due to which people wait for certain time whether the traffic is less or more. This leads in wastage of time and delay in traffic. For this reason intelligent traffic controller is used which manage the traffic according to certain logic. This result in much less delays in ordinary traffic and also reduces the fuel consumption.

Power line noise removal in ECG using mat lab

SOFTWARE REQ.: MATLAB

DESCRIPTION: The ECG signal is a geographical representation of the electromechanical activity of the cardiac system. For diagnostic quality ECG recordings, Signal acquisition must be noise free. The present project has proposed a combination techniques of three methods i.e. Moving averages technique, IIR notch and wavelets to reduce power line interference. The results have clearly indicated that there is reduction in power line noise in the ECG signal. The results have been concluded using MATLAB and MIT-BIH database (with 60 Hz power line interference).
