Process Operation – Responsible in Control Panel for daily operations of process equipment, line-up and isolate process lines and equipment for shutdown activities. Interprets and analyzes process operations to give efficient product for customer’s satisfaction. Maintains and operates effectively the process in accordance with standard operating procedures. Coordinate with Maintenance personnel to anticipate the equipment breakdown. Assures smooth operations by continuous monitoring the parameters in normal operating condition. Check and Interprets P&ID and logic programs for plant safety interlocks. Participates in various studies with the team for continuous process improvement and development. Provide technical and site assistance within the Division on all aspects of Production Operations and in reviewing Project drawings and documents by collecting and gathering all related information. Participates on all project coordination and toolbox meeting before the start of the activity on daily basis. Close monitoring of the mechanical installation, pipelines and completion for issuing the certificates for pre-commissioning and commissioning.
Permit To Work System - Administered in processing and issuing Permit To Work to contractors and commissioning personnel. Designated as Permit Applicant for issuance of Permit to Work prior to project activities in strict company procedure. Ensure permit to work compliance, appropriate job safety analysis, and ensure that all equipment meets required safety specifications and standards. Evaluates and analyze the Permit To Work using Job Safety Analysis upon job completion before the handover to the end user.
Documentation – Review technical documents from Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, Document Transmittals, Method of Statements, SOW and SOP’s. Organizing and manage both completed and work-in progress engineering documents. Review of contractor documents and approval of vendor supply documents in accordance with company policies and standards. Maintains and prepares daily report for management submission. Process and mechanical data information associated with various equipment in plants, PIDs, PFDs, redline mark-ups, project dossiers, specifications of equipment, data sheets, lines, preparation of trends from library and other resources. Maintains documentations during construction and commissioning stage such as MCC (Mechanical Completion Certificates), Instrumentation Loop check data, functional tests and punch list items for daily update and references. Ensuring that all documents are in accordance with International Standards.
Quality Assurance - Ensures the quality records, acceptance certificates, mechanical completion certificates and the documentation for specific systems and buildings/areas are prepared and collated in accordance with project requirements. Coordinate with the planning and scheduling department to ensure milestone dates are understood for each turn over area. Work with the site QC manager for the completion of as-built turnover documentation. Resolve any discrepancies between the completed milestone and quality documentation. Review suppliers inspection and test plans against the milestone scope of work. Coordinate with the commissioning department to define the scope of work. Assist the site subcontractors to compile turnover dossiers. Provide progress information for incorporation into project reports. Monitor and control the status of punch list and exception lists relevant to quality dossiers. Attend the weekly QA/QC, and commissioning meetings.
Inspection - Conducts site inspection for the ongoing and completion of equipment installation and checking of vendor material supply.
