Responsible for overseeing station duties and directing operations at emergency

scenes and fire alarms.

Original member/trainer of WFD Technical Rescue Team

1985 - Until retirement. Responsible for special rescue operations in areas such as

High Angle Rescue, surface and sub-surface Water Rescue (including SCUBA search

operations), Confined Space identification and rescue, specialized Vehicle Extrication,

Building Collapse Rescue and search and rescue of down occupants/firefighters in

structure fires.

commercial occupancies.

Building maintenance: responsible for preventive maintenance and repair/upkeep of

HVAC systems, electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems,

checking security/fire alarm systems, overall maintenance of bldgs. and grounds for 9

buildings in Wichita and surrounding area.

July 1998- June 2004, USD 375 Circle School Dist. Building maintenance:

responsible for new construction and upkeep/repair of all 8 school bldgs. and

administrative bldgs. and bus garage in the district.
