Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence – Responsible for the design, development (reporting, dashboards, ETL), maintenance, support and daily warehouse loads of business intelligence system utilizing Ascential DataStage and MicroStrategy.

oTransformed a three year failed implementation into a stable and productive Business Intelligence solution. This was accomplished through project management, modified resources, partnering with qualified vendors and process reengineering. The system now produces key monthly financial reports for revenue, utilization; ETL loads are performed timely and accurately; KPI and Revenue Dashboards have been developed to provide prompt, concise, user friendly interfaces with drill down detail capabilities.

Enterprise One 8.9 Financials – Responsible for the installation, configuration, updates and support of Enterprise One 8.9 financials. Work with Western Union and their vendors to design, build, enhance and maintain an international money transfer system made up of COBOL, SYNON and Visual Basic programs in AS/400 and Windows 98/NT environments interfacing with JD Edwards One World A/R and A/P.

Responsibilities:

JDE CNC System Administrator & Team Leader - Implemented JD Edwards OneWorld Financials B732 in a multi-server environment consisting of multiple AS/400 Enterprise servers using DB2/400, Windows NT Deployment server, and Windows 98/NT clients. Responsible for all timelines, interface design/coding and implementations, vendor and team scheduling.

Responsible for all project work including: the verification of all CNC requirements on the deployment server, enterprise servers and workstations, installing the initial software load on the deployment server, creating datasources, environments, initial enterprise server loads as well

as package builds, in preparation for CRP testing and final production implementation.

The environment, a virtual three-tier approach, used an NT deployment server running SQL 7.0 (Upgraded from 6.0 during upgrade to B7332). The enterprise server was an AS/400 used for logic, data and security server.

Continued to support JD Edwards from a CNC capacity. Upgraded the system to B7332, applied SARS, applied ESU's and performed package builds. Created Western Unions aging reports using JDE RDA. Established and administered backup practices on the deployment server as well as enterprise servers. Responsible for all front-line JDE support across three international sites.

Systems Analyst - Designed, constructed and implemented an international A/R system (AS/400). The system creates Invoices, Credit Memos, Monthly Statements, Dunning Letters, Wire Transfer notifications and other various A/R related reports and screens. Inquiry was developed in Visual Basic using ODBC to connect to the AS400. Responsibilities included, database design, technical design, project deadlines and resource management.

Systems Analyst - Enhanced a series of PC based aging reports in Visual Basic and Crystal Reports with the AS/400 serving as the server for the data warehouse.

Systems Analyst - Responsible for the ongoing support of an international settlement system. The system averages 100,000 transactions per day reconciling hundreds of international customers in multiple currencies. Heavy user interface, including technical support for the Lawson A/R package.

Systems Analyst - Participated with a management team in researching Enterprise Resource Providers to identify a corporate wide A/R solution. Criteria included year 2000 compliance, multi-currency capabilities, workflow, and management reporting tools as well as overall user functionality. Vendors included JD Edwards, People Soft, Infinium, and Lawson.
