Intern
Good Year India Limited, Faridabad, Haryana, India. Jun-Jul 2010
•Process study related and relevant to manufacturing of tires, coordinated all aspects of manufacturing operations.
•Executed Quality Control measures to reduce the generation of waste product.
•Documented manufacturing process including instructions, diagrams, and troubleshooting to increase organization and efficiency of manufacturing processes.
Projects:
Investigating and Understanding the Mechanical Response of Linked Structures of Hard and Soft Metals Using Constant Displacement Approach: A Numerical Study
•Designed and fabricated linked structures for ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
•Developed a tensile test code for linked structures using finite element approach(Abaqus).
•Formulated the mechanical response of linked-metal structures.
•Developed the concept of involving with electrical domain.
Performance Analysis of an Engine Cooling System:
•Tested the effect of sand blocking the heat transfer area of the radiator and its effect on the engine coolant through the conduct of experiments and developed a mathematical model.
•Pointed out the fact that result obtained for clay, silt and the mathematical model were not significantly different. Thus, irrespective of the type of material that blocks the radiator surface area, the coolant rises with proportion of the radiator covered.
Fabrication of Regenerative Crane:
•Constructed an arrangement using disc base rotation with the aid of a DC gear motor.
•Fabricated the front panel of a crane using a pulley arrangement, which helped to rotate the string while lifting the material from its base using a DC gear motor. And utilize pulley of the crane to generate electrical energy.
Solar Air Drier
•Fabricated solar heating systems to dry food and other crops, to improve the quality of the product, while reducing waste and traditional fuels - thus improving the quality of life.
•Used non-conventional source of energy, ecofriendly.
