with very limited oversight.
Specified, designed, purchased, installed, and commissioned automated production equipment, successfully scaling
up low volume laboratory processes.
Identified suppliers and collaborated with technology team to run prototype testing, developing process
specifications / quote requests, leading suppliers in project planning, and managing equipment build progress.
Implemented new production processes over 2-year period, achieving 90% plus yield while increasing production
rate 10X.
Specified and purchased $5M of engineered automation equipment, including electroplating, ultrasonic spray,
multiple infrared furnaces, QC equipment, grit blast, surface abrasion, and screen printing. Installed equipment and
met precise operational standards within very aggressive time frame.

Managed multiple cost reduction projects on AC and DC motor products at plants in Mexico and China.
Implemented both in-house and purchased material savings projects, reducing manufacturing and quality costs for
wind pitch motors produced in Mexico. Initialized quality improvements/cost reductions for fork truck and electric
vehicle motors produced in China.
Lead Design Engineer, AC Fork Lift NPI, GE C&I, Fort Wayne, IN 2007 2008
Led design, build, qualification, and reliability testing for a new sourced product program for AC fork lift motors built
in China.
Collaborated with India design team, China plant, local test lab technicians, and developed new AC drive motor
designs. Devised way to test motors using commercial electric vehicle motor controller, created low cost final
motor tester and installed in China plant.

Led design concept, prototype building, life testing, and tollgate reviews for blade pitch motors for 1.5 MW wind
turbine.
Received Big Bang award for this innovative skunk works design project which generated $20M sales growth in
