Employed as a OT Technician in Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery (CVTS) at Amrita Institute of medical science, Cochin, Kerala.

AIMS is a 1200 bedded tertiary referral hospital with several Super specialty wings like orthopedics, Trauma care, Urology, Nephrology, Opthalmology, Gastro Intestinal medicine and surgery, Cardio vascular & thoracic surgery, Neuro Surgery, Gynecology & obstetrics : cardio vascular and Thoracic surgery is a leading specialty conducting almost 3000 open heart surgeries every year. The cardio vascular department has 40 bedded ICU with stale of art facilities like ventilators and monitors with continuous monitoring of vital signs and cardiac output. The surgical ICU with 24 beds and 4 bedded Transplant unit.

ORIENTATION

Operating Room : General, Urology, ENT, Neurology, (Head & Neck) and Plastic Surgery, CVTS, Trauma, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology & Pediatrics.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN OPERATION THEATRE

1.Assisting Planning and arranging the operation room for surgeries.
