Alberta Health Services – Implementation Specialist (Contract) 01/2015 to 12/2015

Guided the data conversion and site implementation for a new patient scheduling system, replacing an outdated excel system. Deliverables achieved were to better understand the patient waitlist, define appointment types, remove duplicate appointments, and forecast doctor clinic requirements to aid resourcing of nursing staff.

Introduced process controls and designed clinic templates for specific Doctor Requirements.

Reviewed and revised Clinic Administrative Procedures to align with new system.

Tervita Corporation (Waste Management) – Operations Manager 09/2011 to 10/2014

As the Operations Manager I was responsible for the profitability of the Calgary and Southern Alberta District.

Project managed the design and implementation of a new $2.4m system including procedural and business process changes and end user acceptance testing and training. Key deliverables; inclusion of industrial districts, waste life cycle reporting, automated pricing and Waste Management Division invoicing standardization.

Change management from a legacy system and process dating back 15 years, to a new standardized auditable system of work.

Project Management for a $5m installation and commissioning of a new treatment facility (Tempico Rotoclave Technology) capable of treating 5000 tonnes of hazardous clinical waste per annum.
