Design Responsible Engineer 2008 to 2009
Design Responsible Engineer assigned to Pre and Post Oxygen Sensors for Ecotech, HFV6, and NorthStarV8.
Released O2 sensors for use in various GM vehicles.
Worked closely with supplies to ensure proper installation and software compatibility (Golden Calibration).
Responsible for all warranty return analysis and root cause resolution.

Cylinder Head Design Responsible Engineer 2002 to 2008
Design Responsible Engineer for the Generation 3 and Generation 4 small block V-8 and Gen1e cylinder heads and gaskets.
Responsible cylinder head design engineer for four manufacturing sites and three foundries: St. Catharine’s, Ontario; Romulus, Wixom and Saginaw, MI; Monterey and Silao, Mexico.
Initiated and managed design changes. Led and facilitated resolution of component issues. Demonstrated that proposed designs met requirements.
Implemented advanced design concepts such as high flow/swirl port sets, direct fuel injection, and swirl jet technology.
Manufacturing Responsible Engineer 1996 to 2002
Manufacturing Responsible Engineer on the 4.2L Vortec Inline six cylinder, four valve, cam phased cylinder head for the GM Trailblazer and Envoy.
Designed, purchased, validated, and launched a $32M cylinder head line.
Received numerous awards for this unique engine, including the prestigious Ward’s Auto World Ten Best Engines for three consecutive years.
Staff Project Engineer 1993 to 1996
Performed detailed GD&T and system variance analysis on two cylinder head process methodologies – PREMIUM V6.
Designed and developed manufacturing criteria for a stepped Ravigneaux planetary gear set- X5L Transmission.
Served as Project Leader on the development of a five link aluminum rear knuckle for Delco Chassis.
Transmissions Sr. Project Engineer 1988 to 1993
Conducted Waste Elimination Systems Analysis at GMPT for the 4L60E and 4T60E transmissions.
Served as Technical support coordinator at GMPT Windsor for the 4T40E transmission.
Evaluated and assessed all existing four speed automatic transaxles and five speed manual transaxles.
Performed tear downs and reverse engineered manufacturing processes, including document design and manufacturing features.
