Project lead for enterprise system upgrade. Defined the project scope, roles, responsibilities and timeline for the start-up of a 5 year 50 million dollar software update. Utilized agile and waterfall project methodologies while also working closely with the software vendor’s team and processes. Project team consisted of 5 project managers, QA lead, 30 core teams, leadership and Meditech teams.

Performed as a consultant for Avera@Home process optimization. January, 2010 – December 2015 Project Manager Avera Health, Sioux Falls, SD

Implemented SCRUM methodology into Avera@Home Performance projects.

Successfully implemented Avera@Home Facilities for the new corporation and implementation of Maestro standardizing the WBS, Task lists and needed resources.

Managed the enterprise-wide implementation of TheraDoc Infection Prevention software for 5 of the 6 regions.

Coordinated with St. Luke’s administration to outline, prioritize and implement the regional top priority projects for over 3 years. We were able to successfully implement the top 3 projects on-time by identifying and allocating all of the needed resources.

Closely work with Team Leaders to resource and Manage regional approved IT projects (26 Majors and 16 Lites). Nearly all projects were implemented within timeline and had very few issues post go-live.

Implemented clinic projects through for scheduling, billing, nursing and provider documentation in all of the region’s clinics (36 implementations) within the Meaningful Use deadlines. Worked with the teams of Project Management to implement Meditech upgrades for the region.

Directed and managed the US Bank conversion and deployment initiatives. This 36 month project, collapsed to complete in 18 months, involved all internal departments, consultants, business partners and offshore resources. Implemented the first documented Software Development Life Cycle process for business analysis, technical design and testing processes. Using standard practices (Use cases, process diagrams, test scripts and test cases decreased the design effort by 40%, testing effort by 50% and regression testing by 30% resulting in the ability to re-deploy 20 FTEs.
